About

Dr. Flaster is a chiropractor and a nationally board-certified acupuncturist. She graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1987 and in 1994 completed her acupuncture studies at The Midwest Center for the Study of Oriental Medicine.  She has studied many different techniques to find to best ways to help the people who come to see her.

Dr. Flaster’s first introduction to chiropractic was her father’s bout with acute back pain, and the medical advice at that time was to go into the hospital for 6 weeks of traction.  Instead, friends got together and basically carried him into a chiropractor’s office.  One treatment and he was able to walk out under his own power and get back to work.  That experience planted the seed about natural ways to help the body heal.

Learning about nutrition and fascinated by how the body works and heals led Dr. Flaster to become a chiropractor, study acupuncture, and continue to learn different healing approaches, like NeuroModulation Technique.  Rarely does only one thing cause someone to have a problem. and often a number of approaches are needed promote healing. Her 30+ years in practice, continuous learning and her own healing journey have given Dr. Flaster a large tool kit to draw from to help people get out of pain and restore health.

If you are into early morning exercising down by the lake front you have probably seen Dr. Flaster inline skating.  She especially likes to be down there early enough to see the colors of the dawn sky.
